Education Cooperative
The Education Cooperative (the program) was created in 2007 by Llano Estacado
UWCD, Permian Basin UWCD, Sandy Land UWCD, and South Plains four districts
share equally in program costs and employ an education and public relations
coordinator to carry out the mission of the cooperative.
The program is committed to providing opportunity for residents of all ages to
learn about the importance of water as a precious resource and how to
conserve it.

The Education Cooperative delivers public school programs to all four school
districts located within the PBUWCD. They include Stanton ISD, Elbow Elementary
in Big Spring, Sands CISD and Grady ISD.
